Should I trade my 1995 Tacoma for a 1985 MR2? Insurance is surprisingly cheaper with the MR2. The guy said he doesn't care about the paint and he'd end up flat blacking it. Truck just kinda sits now that it's painted.

noooooooooo, you have to sell/trade it to someone who will keep the paint job, if it was a crew cab I'd buy it myself

I'd say go for it.

That MR2's clean as shit. Clean ones are kind of becoming like unicorns or stupid expensive. I say MR2, but I'm biased.

The only reason I'm hesitant is because I'm going to college in an area that has snow. Mid engine isn't that good in snow. Also rust. I don't want to ruin it. But at the same time I want it.

Can't comment on MR2s in the snow until next winter, but while they rust, a bit of preventative maintenance in the form of an undercoat should stave it off. It's nothing that a few cans of rustoleum undercoat and a couple of days of work can't prevent.

Also, the fact that he included pictures of the door sills is an excellent sign. If there isn't rust there, there's probably not much hiding elsewhere apart frommaybe a bit on the floorboards around the footwells.

underneath the side skirts particularly right in front of the rear arch is one of the biggest spots of rust on the aw11's which it doesn't show in the pictures

I'd do it. As much as I love your Tacoma, I'd go for it.
